On our plan, we have a large walk-in robe closet. I’m thinking about this now because we’re going to visit a wardrobe place on the weekend, with a view to adding a built-in robe to the place we’re staying in while we build. Not cheap, but it should add value, and it’s better than living out of suitcases for the next year. We have an appointment with the Wardrobe Man on the weekend, and also have someone from Lifestyle coming out on Monday for a free measure and quote. So while we’re doing that, we’ll suss out the options for the build as well.
I initially thought we’d include the fit-out in the construction costs, but it’s apparently much cheaper to do it after handover, so I think that’s what we’ll do.

But our robe isn’t that big and our budget only stretches so far. There are, however, some features I’d like to add to help with organisation. For example:
Jewellery organiser (though I prefer a glass top)
Something to organise my “smalls”.
Something for all those random accessories, such as bags, hats, scarves, wigs, hair ties, etc.
I think we’ll try and keep it simple, but some of those specialised compartments would be handy.
