So we’ve finally settled on the floor plan (more or less) and are sending it off for costing by two builders: Middleton Homes and Nu Look. Other names were thrown around but those were the ones we decided to look at, for reasons of build quality, cost, and flexibility.
Both are small-medium builders and work exclusively on custom designs.
The floor plan is final but there is still a lot of detail to work through, which we will do after we get the costings back and decide on the builder.
Meanwhile, we’ve been advised to buy a lotto ticket while we wait! We expect to get the costings back in 3-4 weeks.
