Reader Survey results

A big, big thank you to everyone who answered my reader survey! And as I’m sure you’re curious as to the outcome, I thought I’d post the results. Here are some highlights.

Q1. What topics would you like me to write about?

Q2. Is there anything else you’d like me to write about?

  • I really enjoyed the flower photos that you posted once. You live in a beautiful part of the world that you were able to share with your readers through them, especially your non- Aussie followers. I’d certainly enjoy more.
  • What works, what didn’t work, what would you do differently if you did it all again Suppliers of services that you may have used – were they good/bad and would you recommend them.
  • Once you move in, I will be really interested to hear which energy efficient design elements you think really work well for you and what elements maybe don’t have as big an impact.

Q3. Is there anything you’re not really interested in?

I had to laugh at this one – don’t worry, I promise I won’t!

  • Please no thermomix or cult diets!

Q4. Any final words?

  • Keep up the blog and the house and garden will always be changing.
  • I think I’ve ticked almost every box so that should keep you busy! I’ve learnt so much following your blog – lots of interesting tips and info so I’m quite happy to keep following and reading.
  • I look forward to continuing to follow your journey, in particular interior decorating, organisation and garden design because that’s where I am up to at the moment also.
  • A fabulous blog – loved following your blog on your solar passive home. You obviously share a similar passion for gardening and natives. It’s been a great ride and looking forward to following your future posts.
  • Love your simple, practical approach to sustainability in the home. Give us some tips and a few easily achievable challenges.
  • Love the computer model fly throughs and the time lapse photos, very readable & interesting blog/website.

I’m touched and encouraged by the positive comments, thank you guys! It will be interesting to see where this blog goes and I will use your comments to steer me.

I’ve decided to leave this as an ongoing open question for anyone else who wants to provide feedback.
