Over it now – time for a margarita!

This week, I had every intention of blogging lots as I’ve taken a few days off over Easter. But.

I also had plans to Get Lots Done over the break. But.

We seem to be nearing the end of the planning phase, thank goodness, but at the same time it’s a little bit scary as it’s that much closer to having to get that Mortgage, and all that entails.

So here I am, sipping my margarita, listening to Gorillaz, and hoping my kohlrabi chips work out (never cooked it before but it looks like the coolest vegetable ever!).

I did manage to get a bit done.

I did some filing! And I got some wedding photos processed at Hardly Normal! Half of them turned out dodgy but they gave me a refund. I bought some cushions to try out, and also a blanket. Progress!

Yesterday, I went to Myaree Ceramics to check out their tiles. I liked a lot of what they had so might be going back. I was going to do Other Things as well, but didn’t.

Today was a bit of a bust. I was all organised and went to Bayswater to check out a bunch of places. One of them didn’t exist (despite the website saying  it did), one of them was closed (you’d think a business intending to go online only in the near future would update their website), and the other was was open but the guy wasn’t very helpful.

Tomorrow, I’ve got a lighting appointment set up with HS Reflections, and we’re also meeting with the architect (who, incidentally, promised to send the latest plans through but didn’t, which is a bit frustrating because the changes affect the walk-in robe and I wanted to make an appointment to get it fitted out).

Anyway, I need to finish off my margarita. Adios!
