Last week I called the interior designer to ask about her input on the facade, but she suggested going through it with Ken first and then sending her the drawings.
So, we had our last design development meeting last night and spent quite a bit of time on the facade, and I think we’ve worked something out that looks reasonable.
I also pointed out a few inconsistencies on the plan, which Ken will get fixed up.
So on Thursday he said he’d send through the updated designs and a checklist of additions, which the builder will then use to re-quote. This should take about 2-3 weeks, and then we start DD2, where we look at things like the lighting plan, electricals, kitchen design, etc.
So we’ve got a couple of free weeks but will try to get a head start on those things.
